1. Who we are
RapidMed Services is the trading name of Ronald Carter, a sole trader based in Leiston, Suffolk, United Kingdom. RapidMed Services operates two arms: RapidMed Events (event medical cover) and RapidMed Training (an online pre-hospital care CPD community).
For anything relating to your personal data, contact: ronald.carter@rapidmed.co.uk · 07704 805 511.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number [ICO NUMBER].
2. What we collect and why
Enquiries and quotes
When you contact us by email, phone, or via a QR code on our materials, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, contact details, organisation, and information about your event or enquiry. We use this to respond to you, prepare risk assessments and quotes, and enter into contracts with you. Our lawful basis is taking steps to enter into a contract with you and, where you are enquiring on behalf of an organisation, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Website technical data
Our website is a static site hosted by Netlify, Inc. Netlify's infrastructure automatically processes standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site. We do not run analytics on this site and we do not set marketing or tracking cookies.
Training community
RapidMed Training is hosted on Skool. When you join our community, your account and payment data are processed by Skool under Skool's own privacy policy and terms. We see the member profile information you share within the community.
3. Where your data is stored
Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., a US company, so technical data may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses). Enquiry emails are held in our UK-managed business email accounts.
4. How long we keep it
We retain personal data in line with our Data Retention Policy (DP02). In summary: enquiry correspondence that does not lead to a booking is kept for up to 12 months and then deleted; records relating to bookings, quotes, and contracts are kept for 6 years after the end of the relevant tax year, as required for tax and legal purposes.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business — our website host (Netlify), our email provider, and, for training members, the Skool platform — and where the law requires disclosure.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email ronald.carter@rapidmed.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
7. Children
Our website and services are directed at adults — event organisers, businesses, councils, and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The version number and effective date at the top of this page will always show the current version.
